Newbury Tower

Newbury Tower members will be attempting a Quarter Peal as part of the Branch Ringing Week. This will be done instead of the usual practice at 7:30pm on Monday 21st February.

Newbury Tower members will be attempting a Quarter Peal as part of the Branch Ringing Week. The attempt will start at 7:30pm on Friday 25th February.

A band of local ringers will be attempting a quarter peal at Newbury Tower. The attempt will start at 5pm on Sunday 27th February, prior to the 6pm church service.

This will be a practice for the Newbury Team taking part in the ODG 8 Bell Striking Competition later the same day at Goring on Thames.Attending keyholder – Martin.

Newbury Cub Scouts will be visiting the Tower on Thursday 26th May from 6:30pm to 8pm.Attending keyholder – David.

The Manchester University Guild (ancient members) will be ringing at Newbury Tower from 4:15pm to 5:15pm as part of their outing on Saturday 18th June.Attending keyholder – Deb.

Newbury Tower will be hosting the Bradfield Ringing Course on the evening of Thursday 18th August.Attending keyholder – Martin.

A visiting band will be attempting a full peal at Newbury Tower starting around 9am on Saturday 29th October.Attending keyholder – Martin.

A different band to the morning’s full peal attempt will be ringing at Newbury Tower for their annual outing from 1:45pm to 2:30pm on Saturday 29th October.Attending keyholder – David/Deb.

Newbury Tower will be hosting the Branch Advanced Practice (formerly the Surprise Practice) on Friday 18th November from 7:30pm to 9pm.Attending keyholder – Martin.

2pm wedding.Band – AndrewC-M, Ian, Martin, Eleanor, David, JuliaH, Sue, ChrisP. The clock bells will have been left up at the end of the Advanced Practice on the evening of Friday 18th November.

This will be a practice session for the Branch Ten Bell Striking Competition team, prior to the actual event at Shrivenham that afternoon.
