The First-Friday Branch Practice in June will be at Beedon on Friday 2nd, 7:30pm. Special method is Beedon Surprise Minor. Rounds and call changes, plain hunt, regular doubles and minor methods and some ‘specials’ will also be on the menu.
June’s advanced practice will be held on Friday 16th from 7.30 to 9.00 pm at Hungerford.
It has been decided to go ahead with a striking competition at the July Branch Practice, which will be at Beenham, Friday July 7th. July’s advanced practice, jointly run for the Newbury Branch and Andover District, will take place at Newbury on Friday 21st July.We will be ringing (depending on demand) Grandsire Caters, Stedman Caters, Little Bob, Kent, Yorkshire Royal.
Branch First-Friday Practice will be at Speen on Friday, 4th August.Methods to include Stedman Doubles, Double Dunkirk (kind of Double Stedman), Double Court, as well as rounds and call changes and other favourites.
The advanced practice for August has been cancelled due to low take-up.
The September first-Friday Branch Practice is to be held at Hampstead Norreys, starting at 7:30pm.At Marcus’ suggestion the ‘special’ method will be Hampstead Norreys Surprise Minor. We will also ring rounds, call changes and lots of other favourite methods.
September’s advanced practice will be at Thatcham, 7.30-9.00 pm on Friday 15th. All the usual 7 and 8 bell methods will be available, plus any nine ten bell methods on request.
The October First-Friday Branch Practice will be at Chieveley. The special method is Chieveley Bob Triples.We will also go for other popular triples and major methods as well as plain hunt, rounds and call changes, etc, depending on demand.
October’s advanced practice will be held at Highclere on Friday 20th.All the usual methods will be available (Triples and Major) and we will attempt some spliced surprise if people wish to.
