DESCRIPTION:It has been decided to go ahead with a striking competition at the July Branch Practice\, which will be at Beenham\, Friday July 7th. Rules have been changed a little to allow ‘Combined Tower Bands’ comprising members from several towers who often ring together for Sunday services in order to encourage such bands to come along.There is no need to register beforehand but\, if you are going to enter\, some prior notice would be welcome.\nChris and Rosemary have kindly offered to lay on refreshments\, which will be available throughout the evening at St Mary’s Church\, Beenham. Please let them know if you are coming\, so that they know roughly how many to cater for.\nIt would be a good idea to bring your own chairs/groundsheets.\nSo please round up your ringers and come along and take part.  St Mary’s\, Beenham are a lovely six in an idyllic setting\, what better way could there be to spend a Summer’s Evening.

DESCRIPTION:September’s Branch Practice will be held at Compton on Friday 2nd\, 7.30 to 9.00 PMSpecial method:\nGrandsire doubles with 5th as hunt bell (as opposed to treble). Method rules exactly the same as regular Grandsire\, except based on where you pass the 5th. Thus\, pass the 5th in 1-2; make thirds and back; pass 5th in 2-3 dodge 4-5 up\, etc. The 3 will be the second hunt bell until a call is made.
