August’s Advanced Branch Practice will take place 7.30-9.00 pm on Friday 19th at Thatcham. Methods will be what the assembled band wants to ring. It would be good to try some touches of various methods, should people wish to do so.
September’s Branch Practice will be held at Compton on Friday 2nd, 7.30 to 9.00 PMSpecial method: Grandsire doubles with 5th as hunt bell (as opposed to treble). The advanced practice planned to be held at Highclere on Friday 16th September is cancelled as a mark of respect during this period of national mourning.
The October Branch 6-bell practice is to be held at Hampstead Norreys. Special methods Erin Doubles and Norwich Surprise Minor.
There will be an Advanced Practice (formerly the Surprise Practice) on the third Friday of each month from 7:30pm to 9pm. A different band to the morning’s full peal attempt will be ringing at Newbury Tower for their annual outing from 1:45pm to 2:30pm on Saturday 29th October.Attending keyholder – David/Deb.
November’s Branch practice will be held at Speen on Friday 4th November, 7.30 to 9.00 pm. All Saints Doubles, Plain and Little Bob Minor, Beedon Surprise Minor, and any other requests.
